MEET THE MODERN LEGAL PC TEAM
CRAIG C.O. WATERS, ESQ.
Attorney at Law
Craig Waters is an experienced real estate attorney focusing primarily on residential and commercial real estate litigation. During the entirety of his nearly ten years since beginning as a clerk, Mr. Waters’ practice has been focused in real estate litigation handling matters involving seller’s failure to disclose defects, breach of real estate purchase agreements, commission disputes, negligence claims involving real estate agents and their brokers, partition actions, title disputes, adverse possessions, landlord tenant, and more. Mr. Waters’ has also participated in presentations to train real estate agents and their brokers in proper procedures and protocols while handling residential transactions and seminars to educate residential buyers and sellers regarding their rights and obligations.
Since the COVID-19 rent moratoriums and the passing of the Tenant Protection Act, Mr. Waters’ practice has expanded to include landlord tenant disputes to help address the overwhelming complexity facing landlords and tenants. Mr. Waters’ practice includes matters such as deposit disputes, lease obligation disputes, habitability claims, evictions and eviction defense, rental increase disputes, and lease terminations. As one of the only private practice lawyers in the Fresno area that focus on representing tenants in residential and commercial lease disputes and evictions, Mr. Waters takes great pride in being able to provide legal guidance and assistance to tenants who otherwise have been unable to find representation. His numerous presentations on the rights and obligations of tenants and landlords in the continuously fluctuating post-COVID landlord-tenant landscape have been well received by both landlords and tenants.
